BC_CARVER
Has anyone ever used this product for putting a top coat on there crankbaits? The Bohning Company, Ltd. - Lure-Lac
raywillett
I am using the supercoat as a top coat. I use the thinner version as a sealer. I purchased the Fletch Lac version instead of the Lure-Lac by mistake but it works fine. If there is a draw back with this product it seems like it takes several days to dry hard. But for the small amount of lures I am doing thats fine. I use 2-3 coats depending on color and finish. On balsa it leaves a finish coat as glossy or better in my opinion as devcon or E-tec but maybe not quite as hard due to the acrylic content. Maybe the Lure-Lac version would dry harder. Hope this helps. Let me know what if you decide to buy and how it turns out. Do you have any of the paints?
