psilvers
I have been thinking of making some large in-line spinners (musky size) for saltwater fish. These critters can get pretty toothy and I was thinking of using a bucktail dressing on the hook. I was wondering whether it would be OK if I made a loop at the end of the wire and attached a split ring that would hold the hook. This way I could change the hook easily if the dressing was damaged. How does that sound to you guys? Thanks for the help. Pete
Triton Mike
I make something very similiar to what you are describing. I use a spinnerbait swivel with large eye rings to attach my hook. Makes it swing freeer (is that a word?) LOL. and gives you more bit to your bait by having your hook extend back further. Just one opinion or idea T Mike
Big Splash
Yes, a HEAVY DUTY split ring will do the trick.
