Gimme - 2 Color Laminate Options Please....

Recommended Posts

I'm building a HYBRID Swim Bait, got my models all ready to go .... The head is made of composite deck materials and has stainless steel through wire. (pic attached).

I'm gonna build the first mold tomorrow for the soft plastic body using Durham's Water Putty and coat it with D2T.

My question is,in order to pour a 2 color laminate into my soft plastic body mold.... should I install 2 sprue holes and pour 2 colors at once,or should I use one sprue hole that would accept a hand injector, that would allow me to shoot the laminates ?

I still may cut some movement slots (marked in pic) in the body section to give the soft plastic portion of the bait more action.

Thanks in advance.
