woodsac
I don't have all the bugs worked out yet, but if you make a cast and immediately pull up the slack and raise the rod tip, the bait will float on the surface with a 2/0 hook. Most of the time It's still a fun bait and I think it will do good this summer.
chirmy
Wood, Very nice. Dont wait till summer, you would be surprised how many fish take it all year long. Also, I have found Red and Blue bodies with black flake to be most productive. This was an old invention of one of my son's. He cut up some old baits used that Pro soft bait glue and we molded. The heads were givien to me by a member of tacklemaking. The allow for a popping/splashing as if the bug crash landed.

Mattlures
Hey Wood, I made a simaler bait except with clear wings and no tail. If you mix floater bubbles in the body and hook it weedless with a worm hook it floats. Also the bait always rights it self with the hook on the bottom. when you twitch it itr looks like the wings are buzzing Matt
