crotalus
I was at the craft store and saw a sample piece of wood coated in the castin craft as a sample and it look like it would be a good lure top coat. Has anyone tried it? http://www.dickblick.com/products/castincraft-clear-polyester-casting-resin/ Here is a link of the product. thanks eric

danderson
I asked a similar question several months ago about using a clear casting resin or some other clear casting substance but it quickly turned into the usual I use ETEX I use D2T I use Flex Coat conversation. I don't think anyone has used a casting resin as a clear coat. It would dry fast and it is relatively thin when mixed but the best way to see is to try it I guess. Usually someone has already tried it though and that is why I asked too. Just letting you know that I don't think anyone really has because I didn't get a lot of response either. It is rare you find something new noone has tried. haha
