Glow in the dark

Recommended Posts

You have to play with it a little. Start with 1/8 tsp then pour one out; have a look; then go from there. Either add another 1/8 tsp or more and have another look. Continue on until you get what you want.

Expect to ruin a batch or two when you are trying to make new recipies though.

Be careful with the heat as it will change the color a little.

Hey CJ,

They also make skirt rubber skirt material that glows. I got some off ebay so I dont no where it came from. I personaly dont think glow works for bass. I made some 5 in swimbaits and fished them at night for an hour with no bites. Then I put on the same bait except it didnt glow and I caught a fish on the 3rd cast. I caught 4 more within the next half hour in the same spot. maybe jigs are diferent but I think its a gimmick.

let me know if they work

Matt, I forgot to mention that the whole jig wont be glow. It will have a semi glow head, glow eyes, and a bulky ( the most important part, at least to me and a couple of the local pros i talk to, of a night fishing lure) skirt that will mainly come in a color with about 1/4 of the strand being the glow material. I am hoping to get Kellen to fish one along with other pros and a few select people.
