gone2long Posted December 11, 2009 Report Share Posted December 11, 2009 orlando, RTV stands for "Room temperature vulcanization" it is a silicone product and makes an excellent mold, maintaining fine details and pours nicely. Drawback is cost, for a beginner you should try your hand at POP molds until your comfortable then move on to the RTV.
