Jason O
Bought some crane swivels from barlows and I'm not to happy with them. Would I be better of going to a roller swivel? Or can someone suggest a high grade crane swivvel that would work better? Thanks for any help. Jason
Fatman
Jason I get my crane swivels through Hagens or Worth. If you powder paint you have to cover the swivel in order for both ends to work. I use a small piece of tin foil and after powder painting it use needle nose pliers to pull it off. After curing make sure to check both ends swivel and if the top one got a little clogged take a really sharp razor blade and clear the top of the swivel. Using these techniques for me has worked really well Fatman Bought some crane swivels from barlows and I'm not to happy with them. Would I be better of going to a roller swivel? Check with www.srmo.com they have a decent price on 100pks of spro stainless swivels, they are high quality and extra small. You can find small packs a few places to try and use them with jump rings. the smalles size is 35# and they are really small.

Jason O
I use and love roller swivels for this purpose. -D Big -d What brand do you use? Will a size 12 roller swivel still fit in my do-it mold? I don't powder paint them so thats not the problem. They just seemed real cheap and in the rivers I fish most of the time I had a hard time getting them to spin when I fished them up stream. Who's a good source for jump rings? Thanks for all the help.
