gone2long
I have a guy out here that uses it and tells me there’s no noticeable difference from the regular formula and he sells quite a bit. I might look into it myself.
Tubeman
Guys, just be aware this is NOT biodegradable plastisol. It has a no Phalates, so its safer to use that regular PVC plastisols...especailly if you eat it
Fish N Chips
I just got some of the LC Green Saltwater 550. I really like it. I had the 500 before. I definitely noticed that it smokes much less and doesn't have nearly as strong of an odor. I really like it and doubt I will go back to the regular plastic for my home poured baits. I do think this plastic is a little more flexible than the standard plastic but still seems tough. My swim baits swim better with the extra flexibility. I think the 550 seems to pour a lot better than the standard plastic. Maybe it is do to it being a new bottle, but my baits really have more detail than the 500 was picking up. It is also easier to pour the tentacles on my squid baits. I think it is a good product, Matt

anselmo
I have the Soft and Hard plastics in regular and the Medium in "green" The medium green seems to be as soft as the soft regular IMHO Just my opinion and worth what you paid for it! smallmouthaholic
I've used 3/5 gallon containers of the green plastic from Lurecraft 1- The finished product has a sticky tack to it,even days later - this I object to! Shawn is working on this problem. 2- It will scorch easier - even w/stabilizer - not good. 3- Requires a bit longer to liquefy - strange? 4- Color changes under heat - disappointed w/this for sure. 5- It is softer then the regular #502 and #536 respectively - it's a plus since you use less softener for more flexibility w/your baits 6- tube tails are a nightmare to cut w/ the sticky green plastisol - then they all stick together I'm going to try some de-aired plastisol from Bear. That said,I'm going back to the regular Lurecraft plastic which I've been very satisfied w/for 5 years. Remember, the colorants and softeners/hardeners still have Phthalates in them
Capital Fishing Lures
Well I got my order like 3 days ago and I have been making baits since. I realy like it. It does seem to take mabe 30 sec. longer to heat up, But it is about $14 dollers cheaper in a 5 gallon compaired to the regular. Cant beat that! Smallmouthaholic Im sure you have tried this but are you shaking it really well, good luck with your problem Edited December 31, 2009 by Capital Fishing Lures
