Fishwhittler Posted December 13, 2009 Report Share Posted December 13, 2009 Has anyone used U-40 Dura Gloss LS Supreme epoxy for lure topcoat? How does it compare to Flex Coat Ultra V in terms of durability, yellowing and chip resistance? I read the product description and it says it's non yellowing but some of my lures that I did with Flex Coat Ultra V (which is also "non yellowing") are yellowing slightly. That may have been due to unequal measuring or mixing on my part so I can't blame it on the product, but if the epoxy is going to yellow if I don't measure and/or mix it perfectly no matter which epoxy I use than I may as well use a cheaper epoxy.
