Thanks for the reminder to be safe, 350+ degree melted plastic and too much excitement can end badly! I think I've got all my safety protocols under control though :D

Richard gave you good advise. Have fun and be safe. Plastic burns your skin very quickly and painfully. Anybody that has been around it awhile has a story. With good common sense and PPE, you can keep your contact with 350 plastic to a minimum, hopefully none at all.

I'm pretty sure we've all burned ourselves. It's not if you are going to burn yourself; it's just a matter of when and how bad. lol

It's a really rewarding hobby though and well worth the effort. There are many tips posted in TU about what not to do and it may be worth while to do a search for them.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Remember; there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
