The show is set for Friday Oct. 1st (set up day) the show will open on sat. the 2nd.They are still debating wether they will have it a half day on sunday. Booth rentals are 50.00...(that one surprised me..I guess our chamber is greedy) On the same weekend here in town they are having a art show in the square,and there is the annual bluegrass music festival the same weekend so there should be alot of people in town. At this point we are just trying to see how many booths we can fill.If you guys would be interested,let me know so I can tell the commity.As time grows closer,I'd be happy to help you guys with hotels...I'll besure to put all our booths in the same area...As thing progress,I'll let you know...anyone interested please speak up..Nathan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I clean Sauger, I figure a beer every 5 fish, and it takes about a minute a piece to clean a Sauger. So, after you pick me up we will have about 9 hours of driving. Nathan Posted June 10, 2004 Author Report Share Posted June 10, 2004 Coley, I had a meeting today at noon with those working to set this up.A new tourist board has been formed here,and to be honest I feel like a feather in the wind.I've never seen so much red tape in all my life!!! The long and short of it is they have changed their minds on the date....The new date is set for April 23rd-24th. I do think this spring date will be better for us in the fishing industry,but I told them that months ago when they were throwing the idea of a show around.(I guess there aren't enough $$$ signs after my name!!) I apologize for any problems this may cause. Nathan Posted November 12, 2004 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2004 Hey Guys....I don't know if the sport show is in the works..(no one will return a phone call...I REALLY must of hacked them off!!)..but the last date given was aptil 30th & 31st...here is my proposal...I'd love to host a TU get together.We will just leave it that weekend just in case the show happens....I've got a pond full of Catfish,and bluegill for a fish fry,and a big shop for us to play in.I've got some farm ponds we can go too that should be hot that time of year.....Let me know what you think,and if your interested,I can post hotel #..etc..Nathan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
