Partial Repaint Question

I was wanting to add highlights to some of my lures without going through the whole repainting process.

Things such as adding stripes, kill spots, etc. Can this easily be accomplished without doing a full repaint?

Would I basically just scuff the area to be painted and add paint and apply epoxy? Could it be that easy?

Just to clarify, these lures I am talking about are not previously painted or repainted but factory finishes.

Yes,

I've done it hundreds of times. I use sand paper that is almost warn out. Sand the lure lightly being careful not to sand through the paint. Do your high lites and then clear. Hoper this helps.
