Jig Man
My work area has a butcher block top from a grocery store remodel job. I have about 1/3 of it covered with laminate. I do all of my plastic work in the laminate area. When I am done I have a gazillion bits of plastic all over the laminate. I refuse to pick them off bit by bit so I spray the area with WD-40, wipe it up with paper towels, then spray it with my dept finder cleaner (50/50 distilled water and isoprophyl alcohol) and dry it off. Anybody got a one step process that I could use?
daveh
i cover my work area with the brown paper towel like we had in school. i buy a case at a time from a friend. its cheap and one roll last forever. when its covered with plastic i wad up and throw out and replace. works great and stays put when you lay it out. I wipe mine up with denatured alcohol and let it dry. Of course I keep my exhaust hood going the whole time too!

I don't do this but it might work for you. I went to our local news paper printing place and they have tons of rolls that are too short for them to use but still have lots of paper on them. I got 3 rolls about 6 years ago and I still have a lot left and I use it often. I got thin and thick/stiff paper rolls. I have a roll on my workbench mounted on a 3/4" dowel that I just pull out and over the workbench when I need it. They just give it away. If they ask though tell them that your wife is a teacher and will use it for her class room
BBK
I use a thin piece of aluminum and lightly scrape all the drops into a pile. Then they go into the scrap bin.
