timturr
Hi all, I am trying to determine who makes the best quality, premium spinnerbait blades. I have been buying from Barlow's in small quantities but I am not happy with the quality of their GOLD colorado blades. I am looking for a premium gold blade in size #6 or #7 depending on the mfg. I am prepared to buy in bulk. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim

Their B.B. swivels are 1st class also. great folks for Mfg.'s to deal with. http://www.thomasnet.com/profile/10042469/worth-manufacturing-co.html
smalljaw
I use Worth blades and ball bearing swivels on all my baits and they have excellent quality as well as a reasonable price, Hildebrandt makes a great blade if you don't mind paying a dollar a piece for them and I'm not aware of any place that sells them by bulk. I think your best bet is to go with the Worth blades, they do sell direct but you must buy at least 1000 and if you don't have a tax id # then you'll have to pay the 10% excise tax but it still is cheaper than buying a few pieces at a time. psv
Lakeland for me. Lakeland 24K Gold finish is avesome. They have 0.18, 0.25 & 0.40 gauge blades. Plus, really good customer service. I tried Hagen's blades and have no complains , but LL is better. Even after 10% + 1$( if you order less then minimum qty) per each line in your order , the final price is still cheaper then from Stamina or Barlow's Edited February 3, 2010 by psv

I also think their BB swivels are second to none.
timturr
Thanks guys for all the great input. I had already narrowed it down to Lakeland or Worth. I have no experience with either so I came to the place where I know I would get solid advice and as always, TU members know their stuff. Thanks again, Tim
