Party Crasher Posted February 23, 2004 Report Share Posted February 23, 2004 I make all kinds of custom blade baits up to eight inches long. Basically, to get more vibration you need to increase the blade depth or reduce the weight. There probably isn't much you can do with a Silver Buddy unless you file half the lead off or try drilling new line tie holes and see if you get more vibes. You may want to try making some yourself, but pouring the body out of tin. Do-It's ZV-5-A makes five sizes from 1/4 to 3/4 ounce. If you pour them out of tin, they end up being about 2/3 the weight, but vibrate significantly greater than one poured from lead. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
