LeoP
new to the site and pouring. i started with old plastic to practice pouring and every bait has come out with a rough finish.so today i mixed a small batch from the bottle. heated it to 330 and got the same result. i'm pouring into a RTV mold. any help would be appreciated.thanks
longhorn
Some photos would help but the plastic will reflect exactly what the mold surface is. Two things...either the mold surface itself is rough or it has something on it that reacts to the plastic. Use some dish detergent and water to gently scrub the cavity. Make sure it's completely dry before you pour.

Jig Man
Has you plastic got a lot of air bubbles in it when you pour? It looks like busted bubbles to me.
BBK
Try pouring cooler. If you pour too hot and stir too much, you will get bubbles.
LeoP
took another shot today.my problem is bubbles in the plastic when pouring.i heated to 310 and stirred slowly.when i pulled out the stirrer it was covered with bubbles. FishingBuds
had that issue myself, i was stirring with a pop cycle stick, and too fast, they told me to change up to a butter knife or something metal and really slow down on th stirring, they had me also take the temp up to 375 and let it set, the air bubbles escape easier, this all solved my issue.
