I found this stuffE bay braid on E bay has anyone ever tried it out ? it is going for $5-6 for 300 meters as a buy it now but I guess it takes a few days to get here from Japan but shipping was only 5-6 bucks

Yep, I have been using this for most of ther winter. It seems as good as any of the big name braids I have used in the past. Like you say it took weeks and weeks to arrive.

Hope this stuff is OK Phil I just bought 300m X 10Lb - I have some Dyneema rope on my boat winch, it's 1/4 " thick and it hauls in a ton so I hope this is as good (about 1700Kg breaking strain). At this price who caresB)

Rowingadubay- it's made in China not Japan, just like everything else!!! I'm an eBay regular, and on a first name basis with the courier - (he even offered me a job!!!) Most stuff from China gets here in about a week, this is about the only thing that happens here faster than it does in the rest of the world (except for the sun coming up and the date). Pete
