Frank
Got my new twin injector today. This is a new product from one of our sponsors Bass Tackle. It will inject two colors or you can take it apart and use one. The design will let you load two colors at once from the pyrex cups. It is real easy to use and as you can see it is nice and sturdy. He also has an adapter so you can use your own injectors if they are the right size. I am pretty happy with the quality if my baits now. I guess this is just a shameless plug but it is a nice unit I just had to share. I even posted some pics in the gallery if you would like to look. Frank
i like that. how does it work moving it from mold to mold. Well I will tell you you have to keep the plunger from pushing plastic out but I can do three molds berfore I have to stop. This injector is the smoothest one I have. That is why you have to support the plunger. The adapter piece is easy to clean and it does not mix the plastic so it has two tubes one of each color. Last night I poured some swin baits and could get three pours before I had to reheat the colors. From one mold too.

By keeping the plunger from pusing plastic out, do you mean that the plunger works on it's own and pushes plastic out by itself. That doesn't exactly sound safe to me. Frank
Frank, does the tips pop out easy or not? Is it held in by O' rings? another question is how well can ya hold it when its two together like that? curious, The tips come out pretty easy and they are held in by o rings. This unit is real easy to hold cause they are held together like they are one piece but as you can see they are two injectors.I put my hand in the middle and use my thumb to support the top bridge from moving when I change molds. The middle bridge is a block of aluminium machined to fit like a glove and the top one keeps the pressure equal in both injectors so you get real consistant baits. It truly is a real plearure to use and I wish I had more molds to keep on going. Frank One other thing there is plenty of places to hold it while they are filled with plastic so I use light gloves.
