stratmanv
Got a delivery of skirt tabs recently and absolutely cannot use them. They smell strongly of gasoline. Was told by supplier that the smell is normal for glitter scale skirts fresh from printing. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Was told to leave them out for a while and the smell will eventually dissipate. That's all well and good, but I have 50 spinnerbaits that need to be made asap. Does anyone know of a faster way to de-smell these things? I have tried baking soda/water soak to no avail.

Maybe one of those oxi cleaners might do it. How long did you let them soak in baking soda? www.novalures.com

smalljaw
Cover them in unscented talcum powder overnight and the rinse well with a lot of cold water, the talc will absorb the gas smell and pull it away from the material.
