New Penny Color Recipe Request

Recommended Posts

I have come up with a color like the shade I see on my computer. By accident and it is due to a problem I cannot diagnose.

Using Bear's degassed Calhoun plastic I add per fl. oz. 6 drops of hot pink color and 3 drops of white.

Most of the time this turns out a nice hot pink. If I reheat the lot it turns that shade of, I would call it tomatoe.

I have tried keeping the heat down, 350 on the first mix, 300 on the remelt and it still happens. I use micro waves, 1000 watts and 1100 watt machines.

I dont want that color but trying to remelt bad pours seems always to come out that way.
