Guys I know all of you have tried everything but I need some advice I want to epoxy some of my leadheads once in awhile but have not found anything that lets me put a coat on alot of heads before the epoxy is un usable.

I have tried Dwvcon 5 min and before I got 4 heads done it was a gummy mess. I just don't know how to use epoxy any help out there ??

Devcon 2 Ton epoxy is what I suggest but don't use the 5min version as you've already found out, it sets up to fast. If you get the 2 Ton you should be able to do at least 8 or 10 in 1 application and thats if you are really taking your time otherwise you can do a lot more.

I bought some 30 minute setup the other day but it was the first I had seen. Cool thing is I got it from Ollie's for .99 cents each. I bought 8 of them. What really works well is epoxy that you get for boats. It's nice and thin and you can get 10-15 minutes of easy work time depending on the temp. Only problem is that it's pricey. I built a small boat for fishing and I got the epoxy from boatbuildercentral.com. I did something the other day that I had never done. I heated up a buzz bait in front of my heater and got it pretty warm. The epoxy just flowed onto it in the smoothest coat I had ever done and the epoxy was getting quite thick at the time.

If you can't find the 2T, the Flex-coat that rod builders use is pretty good stuff with a similar working time. Not everybody carries 2T - in New England, you can get it at Benny's Home and Auto. I think some guys in another thread mentioned getting it at Ace Hardware. Thinning it a bit with alcohol like JSC mentioned will extend your working time. The 5 minute stuff will turn yellow very quickly anyway, especially if it's exposed to daylight. That stuff's only good if you're in a hurry.
