bluegrasslover
These are my first buzz baits. I got the pre-made heads from LC just to try it out before getting molds. The skirts are Living Image that I also got from LC. Greg
TackleResource
These are nice. I like them. These are your first buzz baits ever?? Have you made spinners or jigs before. Pretty flawless for a first, lol. Again I think they are great.
JBlaze
Those are nice, hope to see what you are making a year from now. I too make my own buzzers. I have used permanent markers for coloring the blades but it wears off rather quickly, I have also powder coated the blade but I feel it makes them a little to heavy. I have a question if you don't mind telling. What or how did you color the blades. Thanks John
TackleResource
I dont think he colored them. They look black when you look at the thumb nail pick, but if you click on the picture it will open up bigger. Looks like the aluminum to me??? These are the first bait like this I've ever made. I didn't pour the lead though, I got the pre-made ones from Lurecraft. So I did cheat a little. If anyone else uses the Living Image skirts how many do you use? I used 2 of them but think I might want to go with 3 next time. Thanks, Greg
Fatman
They look good!!!!!!! Hey when you don't make alot of them buying 10-15 pre-formed and just painting and putting them together is fine. Fatman
smallmouthaholic
Consider bending you wire like these and eliminate the skirt. Your cast farther and reduce backlashes w/a grub trailer and catch more fish w/ a slower retrieve.
