MackDSM
I was just wondering if anyone out there has the Do-It Worm Rig Sinker mold. I purchased one used, but it did not come with the pull pin that normally accompanies the mold. I know I can order one separately, but just put an order through, and it would be a pain for me to order just that single item and have it shipped to Canada. (Plus, waiting for it to arrive would be bothersome, when I've got the mold and want to play!) Judging by the part number on Do-It's website, PWR-16, I'm guessing that it's simply a 1/16" diameter rod/wire, with the handle attached to make it easy to remove. Can anyone verify this? I'd like to find something in a local hardware store if possible to work for the time being! Any suggestions are appreciated!
MuskyGary
It's just a wire, find a wire that fits the mold slot and it should work.
Jig Man
I've had one of those type molds for 30 years. I have had to replace the pins a few times. I just use SS wire that will fit in the holes.

Go to a welding supply store and get some ss TIG wire, it comes in 1/16 inch and a couple of lengths should last you forever. Make a dowel handle and you're good to go. MackDSM
Go to a welding supply store and get some ss TIG wire, it comes in 1/16 inch and a couple of lengths should last you forever. Make a dowel handle and you're good to go. Haha, oddly enough, I work in a welding shop! Unfortunately we don't do TIG, but I think I can find some random different types of MIG wire to try, and actually thought of this today. We do have .045" wire, but it's metal-core wire, and quite soft, so I'm not sure how it will work. But thanks everyone for the suggestions, I will keep trying different wires until I find one that works for sure!
BBK
The pull pin that comes with it is made of copper. I've often thought about using other types of metal, but I haven't tried.
