powerworm Posted April 11, 2010 Report Share Posted April 11, 2010 wife and i spent a few days recently at mr. bears and had the pleasure of playing with this new plastic and i can tell you its the real deal!! we left a container of it sitting for a week then went back and all we did was open it up and pour no mixing, very low odor and NO seperation of the materials. baits we shot had no bubbles and were not even sticky when demolded even early. do your customers and yourselves a favor and try this out you will all be impressed...jon/pw Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

THE PLASTIC IS GOOD , VERY GOOD AS A MATTER OF FACT! THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH IT NOT BEING AS BUOYANT AS WAS EXPECTED BUT THE MANUFACTURER HAS A REMEDY FOR IT. Since it can't be stirred, what happens to the plastic during shipping? Unless the container is filled completely to the top, shipping is going to shake it up pretty good - especially if it goes UPS. Stratos67 Posted April 17, 2010 Report Share Posted April 17, 2010 I use L.C. plastic usually, it IMO has little smoke or smell and is easy to heat. Bear's plastic smoked and had a strong odor. It required greated heat to become ready to use and was sticky while using. The baits had very little flex! Frank Posted April 17, 2010 Report Share Posted April 17, 2010 Well the method that was used was harsh and I would not do it that way, I do appreciate the honesty. No smoke and mirrors here. I do not want to be the one to be the tweeker of a product. Leave that to the manufacturer. I think they call it R&D. This post stopped me from trying this product. I think I will stick with what I got for a while. And I dont think Bears customer service was ever in question so why bring that up again and again? Thanks stratos67 I appreciate the honesty. As I read other comments on the product Would it be good for sticks, you could add less salt or none at all cause it sinks and it is firm. Just my thoughts. Without highjacking this post there is another board that states the concerns of this product. I guess I should have posted that discussion and let it ride. But then I guess I would have been the bad guy then to cause my loyalty does not line up with yours. On future post I will clear them with you so there will be no conflict with your way of thinking.
