jesse1378
ok so i have been doing alot of reading. and i have decided to go with Calhoun. my question is people talk about the "super soft", so..since this will be my first time doing any of this should i buy the super soft and hardener and start from there. with the super soft i wouldnt need to buy any softener right? i will be starting out with trick worms and sinko style baits. so i want the baits to be nice and limber, yet not fall apart on me. i will be creating some molds soon b4 i purchase any f the plastic stuff. just doing the research on it now. when i place my order so far it is going to be... super soft plastic hardener worm oil anything else for a beginner? i will be pouring for now and i will be using a microwae and a pyrex cup. maybe a hot plate to keep everything warm since ill be going slow. thanks, ~Jesse
nova
What I use is regular soft. I then add softner to make supersoft or hardner to make tube-type plastic. www.novalures.com

jesse1378
I think soft would better for you. i posted this on the bearbaits forum and the general suggestion is to go with the soft and have softner, but to get the next size up on the glitter (.040) and bump the plastic to 2.5 gal, and get 4oz colors. daveh
035 glitter and some smaller sizes/ med plastic and if you want it softer use softener. it does not take much. super soft is way to soft unless your out west drop shoting in 30ft of clear water.
