They have said on Bears Forum that the plastic by itself will sink, but if you add the reducer it will float. Bear is hoping to have a compound with and additive pre added to make it float. one thing i have heard that is cool is a couple guys have had this plastic upwards of 450 degrees with absolutely no detrimental effect on the plastic what so ever.
