perro
Banana shaped lures are very popular here in Chile (they are known as "caimanes" here), and are great for catching trouts trolling in lakes, so i decided to try to do some, but i have no idea about wheights, woods, diving lip and screw eyes position so, if someone can help me i'll be very thankfull.... by the way...if there is someone from chile....let me know...VALE WEON
RiverMan
Hi Perro, I have made some banana-shaped lures and would be glad to give you some advice. You can see a picture of some of them in the club gallery. I have not had very good luck getting banana plugs to run correctly but to be honest have not invested the time to experiment with them. Since you have not built any baits before I would suggest you first built a "minnow-type" lure as they are probably the easiest. Please refer to the following tutorials and feel free to write back for any questions you may have. Hope this helps. http://home.mchsi.com/~djaroscak/buildinglure.html http://www.carolinachip.com/ jed
