DDSBYDAY
With all the expertise on this site have any of you organized and tossed out a product that would compete with the big boys. The talent and baits are amazing. I hope this is not taken wrong but I see enough talent here to start a corporation. We all have connections. I don't mean to offend anyone. I just think that TU could be a player in the tackle industry. I keep upgrading my lures and don't want to look back. I come to this site and have nothing but new ideas. Not enough time. Corporations are set up in divisions just like the forums. Anyone ever thought about working together? (not on the side but as a new player in the tackle industry) ?????? 'DDSBYDAY' - I'm sure they pay a team of guys/girls to snoop on ALL the forums and to come up with something original/authentic to sway the market to THEIR 'New Innovation'. SEE how we/they all try and replicate/copy RAPALA, a very old and tiny company compared to U.S, Japanese, Chinese, and maybe Australian 'drones'. Some see the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$'s, some get their 'Jollies' out of developing new ideas, and playing with THEIR heads - $$$$$$$$$$$ are short term, 'Jollies' last forever - innovators will always have their secrets, it's a circle and that's what keeps us amateurs going, while corporations stand still - waiting for that new idea. kelly
What are you thinking? To round up all the talent that participates in TU and create a new bait company? Too many independent thinkers IMO. Not saying it can't be done, but I don't think so. I would go someplace else I am sure. I own my own business for my day job, and I sure don't want a boss for my hobby. I second that, I to own my own business two, and the last thing I would want is to turn this into a job. Especially if there was someone saying this sells better you cant buy that mold there is not enough money it that mold. You cant spend money we don't have enough on the books. I ant going to pay you to test your baits work work work work work work.......... Next thing you know you are inventing ways of production instead of moving froward with you ingenuity on your baits. All good answers. I'm in the same boat. Buisness owner and an innovator. Each improvement brings new ideas. Glad to know I am not the only crazy out there. Thanks. I have talked with patent attorneys and researched copyrites and intellectual property. All I hear and read is BLAH! BLAH! BLAH! $$$$ How about a TU merit badge? You would have to prove it. Not in a court , just in front of your peers. " My design was stolen at no expense to myself. "
