SIUBASSER
Just wondering how this is done. I can’t figure out how the paint does not chip off. I know that you need to prime it with something first. Do I need to put any solvents on the bait first? I’m a total beginner with painting, but if I can get a frog to look half as good as this one ill have to buy spros by the gross! Thanks guys Richard
.dsaavedra.
i remember when the guy finally figured out how to paint on soft plastic like that. i don't remember where i was reading it but i remember it took him forever to figure it out. i don't think he said how he did it. cullin8s
Curious to see if anyone else has figured out what to paint frogs with besides me, thats my frog in the picture there. Most of the things I do I will gladly tell, but I'm not going to say what I use on the frogs, who knows someone might be willing to pay for the secret some time haha. RayburnGuy
Copy and paste the following into your web browser. It will carry you to a PDF file that gives information on painting flexible plastic. When you open the Adobe file just scroll down to where it says "Painting of Flexible Plastic" and "Painting of Very Flexible". The info is from PPG. You might also consider contacting them for help. cullin8s
automotive paint, even the kind for painting interiors and adding flex additive does not stick to a frog, that was the first thing i tried and wasted money on.

gadawgs
That bait is sick! I'm suprised lucky craft or some other high end bait maker hasn't came out with a realistic frog. Not bashing any companys just saying they could step up and sell more. After all that's what it's about right?
mark poulson
You can always just use sharpies.

Well its coming soon, I just designed some frog colors for a major manufacturer that should be out by this fall or next spring.
bobv
I'm not sure I'm clear on the "secret" here. Is it how the bait is prepped or the addition of the UV hardener that makes this all work? Certainly just shooting Createx on a frog won't work.
