Newby Question... Getting Started

Wave worm used to make the 9" shadik which has become my favorite soft plastic for the saltwater fishing I do. Unfortunately they no longer make them nor does anybody else I'm aware of. For this reason I'm looking into making them myself.

So in short how would I make a mold? What would be a short list of everything I would need to make just this one soft plastic? I don't mind spending a little bit of money if it means I'll be able to have these lures for the rest of my life.

as long as it wasnt a protected bait design or its action or anything like that was not protected you could use plaster of paris and seal the cavities with elmers glue to make a cheap enough mold

Would this be the best option? Would I be able to make a fair amount of baits this way? I ask *and sorry if it seems silly) because I go through anywhere from 3-10 of these baits a night and I fish atleast 5 nights a week. So they add up quick. I bought a bunch to get me through the spring, but supplies are already running low and I need to find a solution. I figure making my own is the best bet.

I'm open to any suggestions, thanks for the help.

Once you get the making the molds down you can make as many as you want. The more molds and the more cavs in the mold the more you can make at once.

Ok so the next question is how do I go about making these molds? Will they come out as exact replica of the original bait as far as detail? Thanks again
