My First Sale

Recommended Posts

I just recently got into pouring and started selling Grubs that I hand poured myself with old plastics I melted down and with a Mold I made with Plaster of paris. I gave a few to my friend and he said he caught a 2 pound Smallmouth bass with one of the Grubs I gave him. I have a prospective buyer who wants to buy up to 1,00 curly tail Grubs that are modeled after the Mister Twister grubs, Is $.05 a grub a good deal? I cook salt and crawfish scent into all my plastic I melt and load the grubs with Salt and scent and affter the cool, I soak them in a bag full of salt and Crawfish scent. I am sending out a sample pack of grubs to the prospective buyer tommorrow. Any suggestion for making these grubs have a better chance of catching 4 pound + Smallmouth bass? I've attached some Pictures.

I wouldnt go any less then $0.15... I guess I should say I couldnt go any less than that. Plastisol, dyes, softener, salt, worm oil, scent all add up to quite a bit. Unless you buy in the 55gal drum.

Thanksd guys, I am putting 800 Grubs up for sale for $40 up on the Classified ad board.

I was wondering what temperature you heat your old lures you met down to, I heat mine in a microwave for 1 minure 38 seconds, is that enough, also what is a good plastic to use when making and pouring Grubs, also How can I make a two part plaster of paris Curly tail Grub mold?
