diemai
Did it once in my hobby routing machine with crosswise feed table and machine vise , ........still was a pain in the butt , as I had to do the position setting of the workpiece by eyeballing ! Use a small horizontal sawblade on a shaft for it ! greetz , diemai
pat28
Square your blanks, then mount them onto a specially prepared jig on a crosscut sled (on the table saw), and being VERY careful (your jig should allow you to clamp the blank firmly), cut the V slot. Then, you can drill the holes and turn the lure to shape. The jig I am talking about combines two angles (they vary depending on the size of the lure that you are trying to imitate). As you cut, the rear of the lure is elevated, and the nose is presented at an angle as well. If you have a dado blade, this process is much faster, though the friction of a dado blade also makes things hairy.
