Jason O
I want too start adding trailer keepers too some of my jigs and spinnerbaits. Is it better to have it on the same side as the the hook or the other side? What size wire works best and what shape? Thanks for any help. Jason I have a couple of molds that I modified to accept a bait keeper. It is a screwlock type of keeper. I have a pic of one of them in the gallery. I call it the Ott Jig. It is a modified sparkie mold. I use .022 stainless tempered wire to make the bait/trailer keeper. It works very well but is a little difficult to thread the plastic onto it. I also have done this same thing to a brush jig. Hope the pic gives you an idea as to how to do it. John
