rugbyfisherman
I am just starting out and ordered my first stik bait mold. I am hoping that I could get some tips on making resin molds to try some other baits out - I don't really want to spend hundreds on tubes, cray, lizzard molds just yet. I know that some people use DAP to make molds but I am thinking resin molds can't be too hard to make. Thanks for any tips,

rugbyfisherman
I am assuming securing the master is the hardest part. I have a neat swim-bait that I purchased that I thought I could copy myself. I think I would loose a portion of the bait.
gone2long
It is easy, just make sure your adhesive is not heat sensitive i.e. will melt with the heat applied, on my 1st try 4 years ago working with resin the heat from curing caused 1 of the mounted baits to let go and floated to the top of the resin
