Crymdawg
Today I used mold pins for the first time and after having trouble finding their silver (aluminum)bodies on my work bench scattered with silver hooks, spinner bait shafts, and made jigs. I was wondering if there would be a problem if I POWDER PAINTED them a bright color to be able to locate them easier ?? Would the powder paint make them too big and not able to fit properly ? I think that the heat from the hot lead will melt the powder paint the first time that you use it Maybe you can store your pins in a small container to keep track of them
Jig Man
Eat a cup of yogurt and put the pins in it. I have some with paint on them and they don't want to fish in my molds easily.
