Semi22lr
OK. I am very new to this and I am sure this is a very ignorant question which will give many of you a good laugh. That's OK, I am laughing with you. Can you make a worm mold out of Great Stuff or DAP expandable foam? Thought it might be a very simple and quick way to experiment with some prototypes. Thank you
nova
There's nothing wrong with thinking outside the box; don't stop doing it if something doesn't work. The foam will probably not handle the heat plus the cavity will not be smooth. Not to mentiom how will you get the master out of the foam; that stuff will stick to just about anything. Plaster of paris is probably the easiest and cheapest to start making molds with. Do a search here; there are many threads on the subject. www.novalures.com
