This is a weedless swimbait I put together

Recommended Posts

Thanks a bunch I do my best with what I have to work with.It works good too i made it for fishing the Bass beds this time of year. Did you see the Jitterbug swimbait I made?I really want to pour my own but my attempts so far have been not up to the quallity that I want.I have not ordered any plastic or anything just been melting old worms to test the molds I made. The Jitterbug is one of the baits I would like to make from scratch and I am one step closer to doing so since I found the lips in a big size like I want. The one in the pic is a Muskie JitterbugXL that I cut the end off of and put cork inside(to make positive it would float)Then I took a "Charlie"swimbait body and glued it on.I ended up doing this to all of my Charlies when a Big Bass broke Charlie's back one day.My friend was fishing a local lake and an eight or nine pound bass took Charlies life. The hook came out of the body and charlie was ripped almost in two. After that I figured I wasnt going to have this happen to me so i made the Jitterbugs.I cant believe they sell those things in saltwater catalogs.Like a big Redfish wouldnt pull the hook right out a big Bass did it in just seconds!

Thanks again for the positive comments most of my friends say Im "Cracked Out"LOL!Because I sit around and tinker with making and modification of lures.
