tigerfire
Does anyone know where I can print out a size chart for 3D eyes? I need to replace some eyes on a Berkly swim shad and I have no idea what size they are.

Printable size charts aren't the most reliable,.... were you looking to print out the chart and hold or compare it to the eye? It would seem just as easy to grab a caliper or ruler and measure the eye diameter. Some suppliers start at 3mm. and work their way up, mil by mil, standards usually start at 3/16 and go up 16th. from there. If your asking for metric/standard conversion of a certain diameter, let me know.....That would actually be a chart worthy of printing and a little fun debate. dlaery
If you do a search on this forum for "eye chart", with the quotes, it will take you to a eye chart I made up to convert WTP size eyes to mm, no pics. There are a couple of entries in red that don't belong, thery were there for some I have measured trying to figure out what they were. dlaery
One other thing, if you want to measure, go to a hardware store and I have found in those bins with a whole bunch of stuff that have one price, I have found plastic calipers that measure inch and mm. those are pretty handy measuring eyes or anything, cause I don't (didn't) know what a mm was. When talking to some other people on the phone they'll say "don't make it any thicker than 2mm." what?

tigerfire
Thanks for the info guys! I was hoping to have a chart with a bunch of circles that I could just lay my eye on and find the correct size, but I can get a ruler out. Sounds like a caliper is the way to go though.
