Dictator Of Painters
What would be the best way to paint a thin line down the side of the bait? Besides free hand or using tape. Thanks!

silverdoctor
MDB; I use stencils made from the flat portions of various bubble paks. I cut them with an exacto and a metal straight edge. Other shapes can be used for curves. They can be used repeatedly once you've gone thru the pain of making them. I am not sure how many guys have the talent to make precise lines freehand. It sure isn't me. Good luck.
Bohica
What would be the best way to paint a thin line down the side of the bait? Besides free hand or using tape. Thanks! I use a cheap comb as a stencil. Large variety at any Dollar type store, approx .99 each, different sizes and teeth sizes.
mark poulson
If it's a color I have in a sharpie, I use a straight edge or something curved like I want as a guide, and use the sharpie. Or I free hand it. It's a lot easier to free hand a line with a sharpie than with an air brush, at least for me, since I'm not an accomplished painter.
