Roughneck1860
I'm looking for two things really. The first is a supply of good #8 and #10 Colorado blades. I need some that the paint stays on. I've got some samples from a couple places and after a day of hard fishing the paint on them is all but destroyed. I'm also looking for some pre tied bucktail hooks and sleeves. I had the name of guy from NY on my PC but had some issues and lost it. The guys made hooks and coil type sleeves pre tied with natural bucktail. I dont have to find the same guy but can anyone help me in finding either? Thanks Tim
Fernet
If you powder paint your blades I would ask WTP if they could make you a roll of clear tape. I find that that tape protects the blades better than any clear coat. Very easy to work with and trim too.
ron g
Try http://lurepartsonline.com They seem to have very high quality blades. They also have pre tied bucktail trebles. Edited August 2, 2010 by ron g
psv
Tim, Did you use already painted blades ? The first is a supply of good #8 and #10 Colorado blades Please, check this thread: Colorado Blades All 3 companies have wide range of Musky/Pike size blades. I've heard Heads & Tails is not in business anymore, I'm not 100% sure though. I have their phone # in my record : (607)739-7900, give them a call to check if it's true or not. Did you try to contact Dick Moore about bucktails ?
