fishgetter
Just wondering if anyone has tried using an injector on bondo molds? I was thinking of making some molds but after looking at them they would need to be injected and don't want to spend the money having them made at a machine shop. Thanks for your advice. GB GONE
I haven't made any bondo ones yet but I have a few I made from plaster of paris that work perfectly. They seem to inject easy as the pop stays nice and warm. Only downside is being careful with the injector, it can damage the mold easy. Bondo should work very well... angolajones
Fiberglass resin from Wally World is what I use and it is a lot easier for me than plaster of paris. I can get three small molds from an approximate $10 can. I anchor the bait down in a box I build and pour the resin in. After a few hours, I can flip it over and remove the forms. Then after peeling out the baits I start pouring. No baking in the oven or sealing necessary. Jonesy

angolajones
Sorry, I didn't see that this was for two piece injection. I haven't noticed any shrinkage from these molds. Jonesy
