toadfrog
OK HERE GOES. I was asked to create a bullet jig head with a screw lock. No problem . Had an old mold someone had tampored with so I milled out a slot for the screw loc. Which brought me to getting screw locs. After I saw the price I decided I could do better If I made them. Picked up a couple Ideas here. I'm a little lazy and prefer speed. So I toof a largre carpet needle put it in my screw gun eye first leaving enough room to run the end of the wire through it. Then on slow speed held the wire so it feed through my fingers and wrapped the needle. Popped the loose end out of the eye of the needle slid off the spring . Now cut to length bend out the tag that goes into the head. Done. I can make 50 0r more in about an hour. No fixture, portable, milling and drilling free.
