Big Splash
I've been using a high visibility line - this stuff is great, the angler always knows exactly where the line is. It 'lights up' like fiber optic when UV rays hit it (sunlight). It is supposed to' turn off' as it enters the water, but I'm more comfortable using a standard low visibility leader, attached with a double surgeons' knot. I've found If I want to fish my lure at a certain depth, say 6', I make my leader about 8-9' in length, then as I work the lure I can just see the join above the water. By mentaly calculating the amount of angle in the line, I now have a good idea how deep that jig is. Knowing where, and how deep the lure is results in more fish on the end of the the line.
