GDille
Hey Folks, I was just looking at the worms i make, and the reason why I haven't been using them to great extent...my favorite worms have a dark colored body and a light colored tail, ex. purple fire-tail pumpkin chartreuse. I can do a open mold but the tail are always too thick for my liking and tend to cool too fast and no have a good hold. What I am getting at is bears makes a tip mold for sticks, why can't there be a tail mold for these worms and/or the plastic gates like in the bass tackle mold or del's? I'm just curious if a reasonable system could be made for the small business guy or hobby pourer. Any ideas and help are welcome. Thanks, George

Thanks, George Have you tried pouring the tail first and then the body? If you try it this way, some of the plastic from should flow into the body creating a thinner tail. basshunter5
Im pretty sure Del,Bear, or kevin can make a ribbon tail mold with a slide bar which can produce a different color tail from body. But im not sure about the cost.
