earthworm77
I know this will pertain to injected baits, but how do companies like Tiki, do those wicked swirl patterns.
alsworms
I was once told they were made with a rotating injection mold sitting at an angle. Imagine the mold sitting upright at a 30 degree angle while spinning. I can't remember where I heard that, but it makes sense to me. Richoc
Well, I worked in a plastics injection molding plant for 3 years. If the effect is what I think it is they just use a mottiling screw in the barrel instead of a mixing screw. It gives a marbling effect. Is this what your asking about? conman
I just been getting the color I want and then taking the spike-it dye pens and making my own swirl pattern. It may not look like store bought but it works. It also bleeds a little so you dont get the hard lines but then again I have not seen in fish with hard lines of color change.
