Laroo
Hey all As they say long time listener first time caller, just wanted to say how much I enjoy this site and all the great info. After reading all the posts about fluid beds I thought I would try my luck at building one, I started out with a 3" to 2" ABS reducer, then cut a plug out of 3/4" plywood to fit in the 3" end, and glued it in place with ABS glue this gave me a large flat base, then a peice of 2" ABS for the cup, with brown paper bag for the filter. I then drilled a 1/2 hole in the base and threaded a 1/4" needle valve into it. For a air supply I used a compressor from the lumbar support for the seat of a Ford minivan, with 1/4" air brake line. I can either use my fish finder battery for a power supply or the AC/DC adapter that I show in my pics. It seems to work great. I have started using a combination powder paint and vinyl through a air brush, Thought I would trow in a pic of my first try at my new set up of fuid bed and air brush. (Remember this is my first trywith the air brush and fluid bed either one) so dont be to hard on me:unsure:
