Delw
I use lure craft colors and they have worked pretty good. I dont like the settling problem and the in consistancy problems( ie one time you add 25 drops the next time you add 40 drops) April was working with the chemist at calhoun and trying to find a way to make colors more consistant with out the settling problem. she's still working on it since she hasnt had much time as of lately though, so for now I am stuck useing lurecraft. m-f has some nice colors also. alsworms
Have always wondered why Lure Craft's colors vary so much. Take chartreuse for example; there's always a clump of crap on the bottom of the container and you need to mix it like crazy. Then there's a color like black grape that hardly needs any shaking at all. Wish I knew what they used to mix in that stuff. I've tried adding worm oil, but that doesn't seem to help. kidlizard
i think they all start with a paste... the paste is really all the coloring you need. people like lurecraft add whatever that liquid is to it to weaken the concentration and make money..... i knew the name of a paste company, but i lost it..... the problem with paste for small guys is its so concentrated you have to mix at least 1 gallon of a color at a time... i think 1/8th a teaspoon of pure paste will color 1 gallon of plastic.... at least that is my understanding of it..... john
