Frank
I looks like he added a rod to the mold to dip in another color and install it then shoot it with another. You have to put a groove in the mold at the top of each cavity that fits a wire or rod. If you search this forum you will find a post that I put a pic of another mold that I did it to, it was a worm mold. Frank
GB GONE
Much easier than that Frank. Just dip the insert that is provided with the mold in green. Replace the insert and shoot the mold. Someone that does a lot of hollow belly swimbaits started idea that a while ago. Jim

Jim Frank is right Jim, no inserts included with that mold, you would have to slightly mod the mold to fit a very small rod to get that core colour
GB GONE
Ooooh... I know the larger models have one but didn't know the small ones had no hookslot insert. Jim Edited September 7, 2010 by ghostbaits

Jim look at the pics very close and you can see the hollow left by the thin wire used.
daveh
looks like a clear bait dipped in green
JHodgie
it also looks like he dipped the bait to put the eyes under some plastic. he could have but the green on the outside of the original bait, added the eyes and dipped in clear. I second that SHK it is pretty clear there was a wire. He has a post with a jacobs mold that he has done the same thing to. I think it was a paddle tail. I see the small hollow spot, but how did he get that much of it green?
BBK
I have a regular one color one in my hand right now, and it is less than half that thick.. it looks to me like he put some green on the original one then dipped clear over it
GB GONE
I think he used a wire, dipped it in green and put that next to the bait. Then, he dipped the bait + wire with green in clear and removed the wire when cool. More I look, it seems that it is outside of the main body vs inside. As BBK said, the bait looks pretty thick now. I cant remamber his web site. Frank You've got it Frank. I did a similar thing as a pouring exercise and posted a pic in the gallery. It's a frog with a yellow piece of plastic inside. This one was done in an open mold. www.novalures.com Edited September 9, 2010 by nova
SHK
here is a pic with some key areas to look at, you can see that the hollow section extends down past the dip showing the wire was in fact inserted into the actual bait. just my take on this based on what i can see.
