Soft Plastics

Recommended Posts

I have some store bought soft plastics that work great, but are basically a one fish bait. Meaning they tear up were the hook eye is.

Is there a way to make the nose section harder on baits that are already made something to dip them in or a heating/cooling process, that will change the charismatics at the nose were the hook goes without effecting the rest of the bait?

This is a double pour operation.

Pour your soft then pour the "Nose" with a HARDER plastisol.

Thats about 2 cents worth at todays going rate

I am purchasing these baits already made, and am trying to find out if it is possible to harden the nose section post construction?

Just use some super glue at the weak point and youll get several fish out of a bait.

You know, we have had alot of discussion on what not to package soft plastic with. Mineral oil always gets thumbs down because it makes the baits hard. I have not tried this, but if you can find a way to just soak the tips in mineral oil it might harden them . Again I have not tried this, just thinking out loud.
